1. Sit comfortably. Erect your spine. Close your eyes.
2. Perform the hand mudra.
3. Take a deep breath – inhale and exhale, slowly. Bring your attention to your heart. Relax your
body completely, and mentally chant “I love myself” (3X)
4. Hum slowly and silently the eight musical notes in a descending order starting from the
highest (do) to the lowest (do).
5. You are now completely relaxed and ready to experience the following cleansing process.
(a) Imagine yourself standing in front of a medium-size waterfall about ten (10) feet high, five
feet width, and thirty meters away.
(b) Listen to the splashing sound of the water as it falls down the big boulders of live and
solid rocks. From where you are standing now, do you hear the sound as loud or soft? If
it is too loud, move a few feet away. If you hear it softly, move a bit closer. Make the
necessary adjustment, so you may also hear other sounds in your surrounding, such as
the blowing of the wind, the birds singing, buzzing of bees, and perhaps voices of any
wild animals.
(c) Become aware of the big boulders of stones underneath the waterfall. What is their
color? Is it black, gray, or greenish? Do you also see some huge trees, plants, weeds,
shrubs, mosses and flower, aren’t they beautiful and bright?
Do you see some butterflies flying around? What’s their color? Is your total surrounding
dim, or bright? In your own opinion, do you think the weather is cloudy, or sunny?
(d) Pick one flower. Select the one that is yellow and with at least four or five petals. Hold a
flower. Isn't it smooth?
Try to smell it. Do you have any idea of the name of that flower? Now pick the biggest
leaf you can find around. Choose the one that is alive and green. Put it in your palm.
Feel its texture. Isn’t it smooth? Try to turn it on the other side. Is the texture the same?
Touch the surface with your finger. Do you feel the presence of small bristles? Tear the
leaf into half. Try to smell it. Do you have any idea of the name of the plant?
(e) It’s getting cold now. Let’s direct your attention back to the waterfall. Walk closer.
Notice the splashing sound become louder and louder. You can even feel some misty
water touching your skin as you get closer to the waterfall. Become aware that as you
approach nearer the waterfall, you become wet with those small tidbits of water and you
feel good with its soothing, cooling, and calming sensations beneath your skin. And
you feel like taking a bath! Yes. Isn’t it a wonderful experience taking a bath in the
waterfall?
(f) Become aware that the waterfall, as the legend says, it has an immediate therapeutic
effect to anyone that bathes and believes in its magical healing and cleansing
properties.
(g) Imagine yourself bathing now in the waterfall. Do you feel it’s getting colder than before,
or it’s getting warmer as you have adjusted your body temperature? Do you feel the
water pressure? Is it hard, or soft? While the water keeps on cascading down from the
top of your head to your feet, visualize the water cleansing your entire body from all the
toxins, impurities, stress, limiting beliefs, germs, viruses, and other infirmities, as slowly
melting and separating from your body. Become aware that they are grayish in color,
and some is dark and dirty looking. The water element seems to magnetize all of them
and pulling them away from your physical, mental, and emotional body.
(h) Taste the water. Drink some if you wish. They are clean, potable and tasty. As you
savor the taste of the water slowly oozing deep down your throat, you can see the water
cleansing your internal organs, making them energized, healthier, and fully rejuvenate.
(i) You are now about to finish taking a bath. How do you feel now? Look at your skin.
Touch your skin. Listen to the sound of your heartbeat. You smell fresh too.
6. Now imagine yourself standing in front of life-sized mirror. See yourself as youthful, radiant,
healthy, and attractive. Tell yourself mentally, “I will always maintain a perfectly healthy
body and mind, feeling great and wonderful in any which way I am.”
7. Say to yourself, “I am going to hum and sing the eight musical notes in the ascending order.
Upon reaching the last not (do), I will open my eyes, feeling fine and in perfect health, feeling
better than before.
8. After you hum the last note (do), open your eyes and affirm mentally “I am wide awake,
feeling fine and in perfect health, feeling better than before. And so must it be. I give thanks.
I give thanks. I give thanks.
