Notes for March 2003 part 1

Notes for March 2003 Part 1

3/03/03 HARMONY

Bisataoling  formally turned over today the mantle of leadership of the Core Group to Patshakti in accord with agreed upon rotation process.  This term will be up to the end of December 2003.

Patshakti accepted the responsibility and thanked the partners for the trust reposed on him.  He announced no changes as of the moment, but expressed his desire for a time table for the different outcomes we would prefer to happen by the end of our training.  Bisataoling indicated he would prefer to wait after the training before undertaking any concrete project. Dakilahsuan agreed that some kind of planning should now be under way for the different end results we would like to happen in the areas of Wisdom, Prosperity, Immortality, Physical Exercises and Harmony.

The present system of reading together designated topics will continue.  Notes summarizing the discussions or of amplifications to specific to   a particular passage will continue to be done by Patshakti as at present.  However, instead of providing the Partners with hard copies of the notes taken, it was agreed that each Partner would now be  given a diskette containing the notes for a particular  month or months for them to choose whether to make a hard copy of, or just have a disk copy on file for reference in the future..

The need for a Website was also indicated as the most viable medium for propagating our Unity Consciousness.  There will be lectures and seminars, but the idea of maintaining a Group is being ruled out as being too cumbersome for the moment.

Above all, an organization (Foundation or non-profit organization) will necessarily be established as a vehicle for legitimizing our Group activities and lending juridical personality to the Unicon Group.  This will definitely be part of the Agenda.

The Group then proceeded with the assigned topic for the day, which is Friendship  With God.

TOTALLY JOYFUL

People have this idea that God is never humorous, cannot laugh, and that everybody has to act very sacred around the Divine.  God wishes you to lighten up a bit.  Laugh at yourself sometimes.  “You grow up the day that you have a good laugh at yourself”.

God is Totally Joyful

.This the First Attitude of God.  It comes before anything else.  It is what makes everything possible.  Without joy, there is nothing.   Unless you get a little humor in your life, none of it is going to make any sense.  Joy is good for the soul.  Joy is the soul.  The soul is that which you call joy. Pure joy.  Endless joy.  That is the nature of the soul.

You must “be of a mind” to be joyful if you are to release the joy that is in your heart.  Your heart is the corridor between your soul and your mind.  The joy in your soul must move through your heart, otherwise, it will “not even enter your mind”.

Feelings will back up if you have a closed mind.  That is why, when you are feeling very, very sad, you say that your heart is breaking.  And when you are feeling very happy, you say that your heart is bursting.

Joy is life, expressing.  The free flow of life energy is what you call joy.  The essence of life is Oneness – unity with All That Is.  This is what life is: unity, expressing.  The feeling of unity is the feeling that you call love.  Therefore, in your language, it is said that the essence of life is love.  Joy, then, is love expressing freely.

Whenever the free and unlimited expression of life and love – that is, the experience of unity and oneness with all things and with every sentient being – is prohibited or limited by any circumstance or condition, the soul, which is joy itself, is not fully expressed.  Joy not fully expressed is the feeling that you call sadness.

How can a thing be one thing if it is another?  How can a thing be cold if its essence  is that which is hot.  How can the soul be sad if its essence is joy?

You misunderstood the nature of the universe.  You are still seeing things as separate. Hot and cold are not separate from each other.  Nothing is. There is nothing in the Universe that is separate from anything else.  Hot and cold are therefore, the same thing in varying degrees.  So, too, are sadness and joy.  Different expressions of the Universal Force.  That is why; these two feelings can be experienced in the same moment.

This is the life energy itself, this flow that you call sadness/joy.  This energy can be expressed in a way that you call joy at any time.  This is because the energy of life can be controlled.     Like a turning in a thermostat from cold to hot, you can speed up the vibration of life energy, from sadness to joy.  If you carry joy in your heart, you can heal any moment.”

Discussions

Dakilahsuan: Don’t you notice that saints and masters, and supposedly holy persons seldom laugh or smile.  Isn’t it that our Soul is more particular of our Beingness?

Bisataoling:  The soul is after Beingness.  It has no preference at all. Sadness is joy not released.  So our soul is never sad.  In the soul is the akashic record.  There is no preference whatsoever.  The nature of the soul is joy, but not in the physical, and in order to express joy, there has to be sadness.  How can he derive his nature without its opposite?  In the absence of what is opposite, what is is also not.

Dakilahsuan:   Do you mean it does not know what is its essence?

Bisataoling: That is his essence, but he cannot express it without the opposite.  It cannot know itself.
Can’t the soul be joyful and sad at the same time?

Dakilahsuan:  Do you mean that the acts of a demented person, who laughs and cries at the same time, are strong manifestations of a soul?

To make yourself happy, make others happy.  If you want to make yourself prosperous, make others prosperous.

How can masters accept everything in life, whether or not it is expressing joy, happiness or sadness?  Are the masters becoming less masterful if they become sad?

There is nothing you have to do but be.  When you make others happy, isn’t this not doing?  When you start being happy, you draw the situation that is being happy.  You do not think about being sad.  You just be.  Sometimes, when you think of the future, you feel sad.  You use the mind.

What would happen if God is totally sad?  Why does God want to be joyful? If the essence of the soul is joy, what is his basis for being?

Bisataoling:  Not all in the soul have to have any basis.  In the same way, in intuition you just know.

Are we not looking at the very limiting language of joy?.  Joy is joy. Sadness is sadness.  How can God be everything if He is only joy?  Not a part of Him, but that is the only way He can express Who He Really Is.

Dakilahsuan:  Poverty and sadness are part of the essence of God.  These are just aspects of God.  Who He is Not is also Who He is, because It is changing.

Bisataoling:  But you are looking at God as the perfect embodiment of love.  How do you know love if there is no opposite, such as fear?  There must be a contrast.  It is how He can express Himself fully.

Dakilahsuan:  If we accept this new concept about the essence of God, does it mean that only the virtuous go up?  Why can’t you consider sadness as his nature? Why do you consider Joy the essence of the soul?  Why not sadness?

Bisataoling:  Just like the ocean, its nature is salty.

Is not joy an aspect of God?  If he comes down to the relative plane itself, does  it mean He is not God if He express sadness?  But in the beginning of time, it is both positive and negative. Joy and Sadness. There was nothing but the positive and negative.  Could joy be just the highest  expression and sadness the lower expression in the same way that a thermometer can show the hottest temperature and the lowest temperature, yet remains as a thermometer, a measuring device?.

Essence and highest expressions are two different things. I AM WHO AM. Is his declaration.  It does not carry the experience of Joy or Sadness.  I am everything.  My beingness depends on how you create me.  That is why in the avenue of life, we are creating and recreating.

I would like to beg the indulgence of the author of the CWG books.  If God is totally joyful, then he is not the opposite and on that  basis, he is not everything.  Then we are talking about the whole essence of the energy,  positive and negative, no preference whatsoever, when he declares I AM WHO AM.   He   does not have any signification of preferences about joy and  life.  That is why, as we experience life, we create and recreate God.

I would like to think personally that this joy simply means the highest expression of Who He  Is and this sadness is the lowest.  It is not .that Joy is Who He Is and Sadness is He Who Is Not.   If you say one is yes and the other is no, then there is expression.  If this is the highest and lowest, then they are one and the same.  Just like Spirit and Matter, they are one.

Joy is the highest expression of the soul.  How to express it is through the physical  body.  Ultimately, positive and negative becomes one.  This is what you may call altered state of consciousness.  You have already experienced, whereas you had you conceptual knowledge.

3/4/03  - PHYSICAL EXERCISES

Today, we started drills on butterfly dance with a partner. It is basically synchronized movement of Body I, Body II, and Body III, with the added features of a kick and a shoulder push and alignment.  These modifications make the butterfly dance interactive and more enjoyable and permits of proper distancing, sequencing and coordination, with instant feedback, which was not available when it was being practised alone.

3/5/03 -  IMMORTALITY

Today, Bisa Tao Ling reported the death of a former colleague, Ben Renen.  Through Ben, we learn that Master Akbar Ling appears to indicate that he has great hope in our  studies and is rendering all possible assistance.

This appears to be his masteral thesis and it is His desire that the Unity Consciousness be fully understood and spread out to the people in its four aspects of Immortality, Wisdom, Harmony and Prosperity.

It seems to be indicated that this is difficult to achieve if there are no physical practices and moderation in all things we do, including diet .but  that Master Akbar Ling has great hope that we will succeed.  This is the reading of Ben Renen.

Our exercises are very unique and significant.  Taichi has anchored, but the problem is they have no  spiritual studies.  Kalimasada is  opposite.  It uses kundalinic energy.  But here you need to have balance of study and discipline to temper the rise of the kundalini.

The recently given calisthenics  are now being practiced by Dakilahsuan and Bisataoling but they have  yet to experienced tangible results. In the Butterfly Dance, every action has its own consciousness.

The Music of the Body
How can a person sustain a nurturing life?
Basic rules governing  one’s inner intelligence:  Intelligence is meant to flow. Every impulse of intelligence  has a physical correlate.

The body keeps in balance through complex rhythms and cycles.  These biorhythms are our connecting link to the larger rhythms of nature.

When the body is in balance, it sends out signals of comfort.  Comfort indicates indicate harmony with the environment.  Discomfort indicates disharmony.

Living in harmony with the body’ rhythms overcomes entropy by allowing a frictionless flow of biological information.  Living in opposition to the body’s rhythms produces an increase in entropy, leading to disorder.

The best indicator of success in living in harmony with your environment is your body’s feeling of comfort. A new science, called chronobiology, asserts that our bodies have an internal music that we can, and should tune in to.

Biorhythms have many medical implications. Every one’s body  temperature has a daily cycle and hormones move in complexly interwoven cycles, with daily rhythms enmeshed in larger monthly and seasonal cycles.

Timing of surgery and chemotherapy can significantly alter a patient’s outcome.  Timing chemotherapy to match the body’s biorhythms, for example, has helped patients with bladder, colo-rectal, pancreatic, and ovarian cancer.  Since cancer cells have different activity patterns from normal cells, it is best to give drugs when the cancer cells are active and the normal cells inactive; does lower doses can be given and toxicity reduced.

What is fundamentally important about biorhythms is that they provide the basis for the state of dynamic on-change, the balance of opposites that must be maintained for the body to resist disorder.

We are awash in a tide of balance and imbalance surging back and forth.  Dozens of bodily functions are disturbed every second, so that any fixed definition of health becomes meaningless.  Structure and motion, the fixed and the changing, both count.   A pulse rate of 80, a BP of 120/70, and body temperature of 98.6 degrees F, which are considered normal, are assessments  purely for convenience and are good only for the moment they are taken, for each dances around its balance point, creating the music of the living body.

When the Music Dies

Aging is marked by a loss of many of the body’s key balance points. As far as the body is concerned, the memory of stress is just as real as the stress itself.  The body’s memory of stress causes normal cycles to be thrown out of balance. Instead of returning to their original position, they drift slightly.  Overtime, the net result is a state of dynamic imbalance.

The difference between resting state and stress is generally greater at Age 60 than at Age 20.  At age 60, the stress is now much greater and when the stress is over, the body still feels the effect. Remembering too much of the stress shifts the balance points, which means in physical terms, stress hormones damage various tissues; and subjectively, the person feels less energy.  The imbalance prevalent among older people is damaging their physiology and finally, balance collapses at the point of death.

Balance points stress away from orderliness, which means that the body’s intelligence no longer control them efficiently, if at all.  Near death, the body is so close to total imbalance that adding extra stress in the form of   disease, emotional shock or  simply daily challenges, places too great a strain on the weakened information net work that is the blueprint of life.

The state of dynamic non-change loses its coherence, and entropy has triumphed.  The best defense against this catastrophe is to preserve and renew the body’s instinct for balance.   Medication, hypnosis, and other mind-body techniques have shown that the mind is capable of taking over involuntary functions.  Many of the important age changes can now  be mediated by hormones triggered by stress and can be prevented by controlling stress.

3/6/03  -  WISDOM

Life After Death

What happens is whatever you want to have happen.  You create your own reality not only when you are with the body, but when you are away from it.

If at first you do not realize this and may not be consciously creating your reality, your experience will be created by one of two other energies: your uncontrolled thoughts, or the collective consciousness.

To the degree that your uncontrolled thoughts are stronger than the collective consciousness, to that degree you will experience them as reality.  To the degree that the collective consciousness is accepted, absorbed, and nternalized, to that degree you will experience it as your reality.

This is no different from how you create what you call reality in your present life.  You may allow your uncontrolled thoughts to create The Moment. You may allow your collective consciousness to create The Moment. You may allow the collective consciousness to create The Moment.

In your present life, you find it difficult to create consciously from your individual awareness, and,  often assume your individual understandings to be wrong, given all that you are seeing around you, and so, you  surrender to the collective  consciousness whether it serves you to do  so or not.

In the first moments of what you call the afterlife, on the other hand, you may find it difficult to surrender to the collective consciousness, given all that you are seeing around you (which may be unbelievable) and so you will be tempted to hold to your own individual understandings, whether they serve you or not. It is when you are surrounded by lower consciousness that you will benefit more from remaining with your individual understandings, and when you are surrounded by higher consciousness that you receive   greater benefits from surrender.  It may, therefore, be wise to seek beings  of high consciousness.  That is why, keeping good company is very important.

In what you call the afterlife,  you will instantly and automatically be surrounded by beings of high consciousness and by high consciousness itself.  Still, you may not know  that you are being so lovingly enveloped you may not immediately understand. And it may, therefore, seem to you that you are at  the whim of whatever fortunes are working at the moment.  In truth, you experience the consciousness in which you die.

Some of you have expectations without even knowing it.  All your life you’ve had thoughts about what occurs after death, and when you “die” those thoughts are made manifest, and you suddenly realize   what you’ve been thinking about. And it is your strongest thoughts that, as always in life, will prevail.

Nothing  exists in Ultimate Reality save that Which Is.  You may create any sub-reality you choose – including the experience of hell even   if hell does not exist.  Most of what you experience does not exist, yet you experience it nonetheless.

“No movie, or book or other human explanation of the Divine is literally true, not even the bible and not even this book, but you are bringing this through your personal filter.  The mesh on your filter may be thinner, finer,  and therefore a very good filter, but it is a filter nonetheless.

Some enormous truths are sometimes through an imperfect filter, but you will experience the after death exactly what you expect, and choose, to experience.

What would stop me from creating such a place for all eternity if I believed all my life  that there was such a place, and that something I’d done had caused me to deserve such a place?

Your knowledge and understanding.  Just as in this life your next moment is created out of the new understandings you have gained from your last moment, so too, in what you call the afterlife, will you create a new moment from what you’ve come to know and understand in the old.

You will come to know and understand, very quickly, that you are at once, always, about what you wish to xperience.  That is because in the afterlife, results are instantaneous and you will not be able to miss the connection between your thoughts about a thing and the experience those thoughts create.  You will understand yourself to be creating your own reality.

The soul responds to, re-creates the mind’s most powerful suggestions, producing that in its experience.  Some souls remain in that experience for a time, making it very real – even as they remained in their experiences while with the body, though they were equally as unreal and impermanent.  Other souls quickly adjust, see the experience for what it is, begin to think new thoughts, and move immediately to new experiences.

Do we continue to go on creating myths and legends and  make-believe experiences right past our death and into the next reality?  When do we get released from the bondage.  When do we come to know the truth?

When you choose to.  Those whose only desire is to know the eternal truth of All That Is,   to understand the great mysteries, to experience, the grandest reality, do so.

Yet, there is One Great Truth:   there is a Final Reality. But you will always get what you choose, regardless of that reality.---precisely because the reality is that you are a divine creature, divinely creating your reality even as you experience it.

Yet, should you choose to stop creating your own  individual reality, and begin to understand experience the larger unified reality, you will have an immediate opportunity to do that.

Those who “die” in a state of such choosing, of such desiring, of such willingness and such knowing, move into the experience of the Oneness at once.  Others move into the experience only if, as, and when they so desire.

It is precisely the same when the soul is with the  body. It is all a matter of desire, of your choosing, of your creating, and ultimately, of your creating the uncreatable – that is, of your experiencing that which has already been created.
While you are with the body, or after you have left it, you may return to the One and experience the loss of your individual Self whenever it pleases you.   You may also re-create the experience of your individual Self whenever you choose.

You may experience any aspect of the All That Is that you wish, in its tiniest proportion, or its grandest.  You may experience the microcosm or the macrocosm.

DISCUSSIONS:

Patshakti:  If you lose your individuality as you return to the One, how can you choose to re-experience your individual Self?

Bisataoling:  You may lose your ego, your I, but you are one with the  big I and you are fully conscious.

Dakilahsuan:  In the realm of the relative, we are very creative in the sense that we are bound by illusion.  All what happens depends on how we behave, so what is the realistic  basis of our beliefs since we are  bonded by illusion?

Bisataoling:  There must be hell.  You go to where you belong, to the state of consciousness that you are in.

Dakilahsuan:  What if one does not believe in hell?

Bisataoling:  But you have your subconscious mind that triggers your hell.  Like Hitler went to heaven  So, it does not matter what you do.  It is a matter of whatever you are being. What you do depends on the consciousness you have.

Dakilahsuan:  I think  we should look at this truth, is this the point of view of God or it is our point of view?   In this area, I think knowledge is important.  Without knowledge, you will be trapped.  What is the importance of your truth if it does not serve its purpose? Whether or not this  book is true or false,  if it serves my purpose, it is important to me.  What serves my purpose is what I believe and what I believe becomes my  reality.

If you think about it, there is advantage for people in   religion.  They believe that if they are doing  good in this lifetime, they would go to heaven., to their levels of consciousness. There must be heaven. Heavens rejoice when you say that.

Patshakti:  It must be a state of  celestial  bliss.  If you are merged with the ONE, can you still choose to  come back?

It depends on your consciousness.  If you consciously create your own reality, then your controlled thoughts will enable you to experience your own reality.  On the higher plane, there are individuated unit consciousness and there is a collective consciousness, although there is no ego or physicality.

As you go to merge with our soul, we still maintain our unit soul, which is practically individuated.  If you choose to merge, outrightly you bear your samskaras, which is the one operating from the collective consciousness.
In the realm of the relative, you have bondage.  In the realm of the Absolute, your soul is still bonded.  That is if it is not in final merger (moksa).  If had merged with the Ultimate Consciousness, but chose to come back or stay in the earth plane, you must be a Masteral Soul operating on the collective consciousness level.

Dakilahsuan:  Our spirit guides are concerned for our evolution, which is no longer individuated, but a group evolution.  The group consciousness that will evolve is their concern.  We still have a chance to comeback. Some masters come back  for a eason, such as to help humanity get released from the bondage of illusion.
Can the lowerself leave the higher self?

Bisataoling:  It is the higher self that leaves the lowerself .

Dakilahsuan:  How can you reconcile that with the statement that “your will is my will”?

Patshakti:  Your higher self allows you to experience or create your samskaras in this life time.
Does it mean that the higher self and the lowerself are two separate entities?

Dakilahsuan:  Can the higher self really leave the lower self?  How can  the higher self disown a part of Itself, which is the lower self?

Bisataoling:  In that case, whatever is the essence in this particular plane of existence allows us to create and uncreate ourselves.  The higher self has its own preference.

Dakilahsuan:  But is it not  that the higher Self, the soul is only after beingness? In that   sense, the higher self should not  leave the lower self.

Bisataoling:  That is only when the lower-self refuses to attune with the higher-self.

Dakilahsuan:  What about somebody who took his own life? Does it have control over this?

Bisataoling:  We do not really know what the soul wanted.   Our ego is actually an aspect of our higher self. It is not operating alone.  If you are not consciousness of your higher-self, the body and mind may not go along.  The higher self cannot fully impose his will unless the body and mind are disciplined.

Dakilahsuan:  Creating our own reality, we think of so many things that could possibly occur at the time of death   That is realistically because of illusion.

Bisataoling:  That before you finally merge, before your lower self attune with your higher self, you have to pass through several levels or planes of existence.  You can decide to still carry your astral body and you still carry your seed atoms.

Dakilahsuan:  In the Destiny of Souls, souls do undergo soul repair.  Your seed atoms are resting and will experience peace.  It becomes united with your soul, your unit soul.

3/7/03  -  PROSPERITY

Pattern Interrupts and Flexibility

Pattern interrupts are also valuable in business, in communicating your message to employees and encouraging them to accept changes  without any resentment, by appealing to their sense of pride.

Pattern interrupts can be particularly useful in politics
When  Kevin Reilly’s effort (Louisiana legislator) to lobby money for the stages colleges and universities failed, he launched a tirade declaring Louisiana a banana republic.  “We ought to declare bankruptcy, secede from the Union, and file for foreign aide.  We lead in all the good stuff, literacy, unwed mothers, and we are last in education.”.  He became something of a hero and did more to change the state’s thinking about funding education by that one tirade than through all his ardent politicking.

“Everything that enlarges the sphere of human powers, that shows man he can do what he thought he could not do, is valuable “(Ben Johnson).

You can persuade better through agreement than through conquest.  We live in a society that revels in competition, that likes to make clear distinctions between winners and losers, as if every interaction must have both.

The competition model is, at best, very limited.  There is the magic of rapport and how essential it is to personal power.  If you see someone as a competitor, someone to be vanquished, you are starting out with the exact opposite of framework.

You can do better building from agreement, rather than conflict, learning to align and lead rather than trying to overcome resistance.  This may be easier said than done’ however, through conscious and consistent awareness, we can change our patterns of communication.

Our behavior patterns aren’t indelibly carved into our brain.  If we repeatedly do something that limits us, we are not suffering from some abstruse mental ailment, we are just running a terrible pattern over and over again.

The solution is simply to interrupt the pattern, stop what you’re doing, and try something new.  We are not robots.  If we do something we don’t like, all we have to do is to recognize it and change it.

In both cases, the common ground is flexibility.  Be flexible enough  to change, to adapt, to experiment, to try something new.  The more flexible you are, the more options you create, the more doors you can open, and the more successful you will be.

REFRAMING: The Power of Perspective.

“Life is not a static thing.  The only people who do not change their minds are incompetents in asylums who can’t   and those in cemeteries.” (Everett Dirksen).

`The sound of so many footsteps in a busy street may not mean anything to you, but what if you are sitting home alone late at night, and you hear footsteps downstairs”  A moment later, you hear the footsteps moving toward you.  Do the footsteps have meaning then?

The same signal (the sound of footsteps) will have many different meanings depending upon what it has meant to you in similar situations in the past.  Your past experience may provide you with a context for that signal and thus determine whether it   relaxes or frightens you.   They could be footsteps of a spouse coming home, or of a burglar who has entered your house.

Thus, the meaning of any experience in life depends upon the frame we put around it.    Life has no meaning, except the meaning we give to it.

One of the effective tools of personal change is learning how to put the best frames on any experience.  The process is called reframing.

In our life, opportunities abound for us to make our lives exactly as we wish them to be.  You can see your biggest problems as your biggest opportunities, but only if we can step out of our trained patterns of perception.  Nothing in the world  has any inherent meaning.  How we feel about something and what we do in the world are dependent on our perceptions of it.

A  signal has meaning only in the frame or context in which we perceive it.  There are infinite number of ways to interpret any experience.

We tend to frame things based upon how we have perceived them in the past, but by changing these habitual perception patterns, we can create greater choices for our lives.

Remember that perceptions are creative.   If we perceive something as a liability, that’s the message we deliver to our brain.  Then the brain produces states that make it the reality.

If we change our frame of reference by looking at the same situation from a different point of view., then we can change the way we respond in life. We can change our internal representation or perception about anything and in a moment change our states and behaviors..  If you are to change anything, begin by changing your perspective.
How things are can be interpreted from many points or view.  How we are, our frames of references, “maps” the territory.

Our past experiences regularly filter our ability to see what is really happening in the  world.  But there are multiple ways to see or experience any situation.  The key to success in life is to consistently represent your experience in ways that support you in producing even greater results for yourself and others.

“If you see what is small as it sees itself, and accept what is  weak for what strength it has, and use what is dim for the light it gives, then all will go well.  This is called Acting Naturally.” (Lao-Tsu, Tao Te King).

3/8/03 -  PHYSICAL EXERCISES
Practices were largely on the cockerel dance, but we spent about 30 minutes  acquainting  ourselves with the  Butterfly Dance pairings.

3/10/03  - HARMONY

Neale’s whole life has indeed been a teaching, and that is true for all of us.  We have to pay attention, keep our eyes open and  ears wide open.  God is sending us messages all the time, having a conversation with us in a variety of ways, from a variety of sources in endless profusion.

These variety of sources teach us different life lessons and bring life wisdoms that serve your purposes and resonates with you and feel like your inner truth.  But there are lessons that do not serve your purpose and therefore you may have to choose to discard   Some sources can teach you to seek Eternal Truth with never-ending determination, no matter how it upsets the apple cart, no matter which of your former beliefs it overturns, no matter how much it might put off others.  Some bring you to a resolve to make your life a never-ending and courageous search for spiritual reality with which your soul deeply resonates.

Joy and joyfulness
God said that the way to feel joyful is to cause another to feel joyful.  So how do you feel joyful when there is no one else around?

There is always a way to contribute to life even when you are alone.  Sometimes, especially when you are alone.  For instance, you do your best writing when you are alone.

How do you find joy inside yourself?  Isn’t this idea a bit of a trap.   Could it lead to the creation of little martyrs, – people who feel that the only way they can  deserve happiness is to make others happy?

“First, let’s clarify something.  There is no time that you are ever alone.  I am always with you and you are always with Me. And that’s an important one to begin because it changes everything.

If you think you are really alone, just the thought of total aloneness itself, without anything else going on, could be devastating.  That’s  because the very nature of the soul is unity and Oneness with All That Is.  If it appears that there is nothing and no one else, then an individual could feel just that – individual, and not One with anything else at all.  That would be devastating because it violates your deepest sense of Who You ARE.

So, it is important to understand that you are never alone, and that “aloneness” is impossible.

But there are cases when “aloneness” would be very much possible.  You can create the illusion of aloneness, yet the experience of something does not make it a reality.  I am  always with you, whether you know it or not.  If we don’t know it, isn’t this the same as You are not being with us?

Yes.  Therefore, to change the effect, know that I am with you always, even unto the end of time.

How can I know this if I don’t “know it”?
It is possible for you to know and yet not “know that you know”.
In life, there appear to be:

Those who do not know, and who do not know that they do not know.  They are as children,  Nurture them.

Those who do not know, and who know that they do not know.  They are willing.  Teach them.

Those who do not know, but who think that they know.  They are asleep.  Wake them.

Those who know but who pretend that they do not now.  They are actors.  Enjoy them.

Those who know, and who know that they know.  Do not follow them.  For if they know that they know, they would not have you follow them.  Yet listen very carefully to what they have to say, for they will remind you of what you know.

That is why they have been sent to you.  That is why you have been called to them.
If a person knows, why would he pretend that he does not know.  Who would do that and why?

Nearly everybody.  Because you love the drama so much. You have created an entire world of your illusion, a kingdom in which you can reign as the drama king  or drama queen.

But why would I want the drama rather an end to the drama?

Because of the deliciousness of the drama that you get to play out at the highest level and with all the greatest intensity, all the various versions of Who You Are, and may then select who you choose to be.

But you will ultimately choose an easier way out the moment you realize that all the drama isn’t necessary.  Yet, sometimes, you will continue to use drama, to remind yourself, and instruct others that all of life is an illusion, that it has a purpose, and that once you know its purpose, you an live within the illusion or outside of it, at will.

You can choose to experience the illusion, and make it real, or you can choose to experience Ultimate Reality, in any given moment.

How can I experience Ultimate Reality?
Be still, and now that I am God.  That is you will know that I am God, and that I am always with you.  That is how you will know that you are One with Me.  That is how you will meet the Creator inside of you.

If you have come to know Me, to trust Me, to love Me, and to embrace Me  - if you have taken the steps to having a friendship with God  - then you will never doubt that I am with you always,  and all ways.

So embrace me.  Spend a few moments each day embracing your experience of Me.  Do this now, when you do not have to, when life circumstances do not seem to require you to.  Now, when you are not feeling alone.  So that when you are “alone”, you will know that you are not.

Cultivate the habit of joining Me in divine connection once each day, according to the direction  I have given, and many other ways.  God is not limited, and neither are the ways to reach God.

Once you have truly embraced God, once you have made that divine connection, you will never want to lose it, for it will bring you the greatest joy you ever had.

This joy is What I Am, and What You Are.  It is life itself, expressing at the highest vibration,  It is supraconscious- ness.  It is at this level of vibration that creation occurs.

But I thought that joy was something that you could only feel when you were giving it away.  How can you feel this joy if you are simply being alone with yourself, connecting only with God within?

Only!  Did you say “only”? I tell you, you are connecting with All That  Is. You are not being “alone with yourself”, AND YOU NEVER CAN BE! It is not possible.  And when you actually feel your eternal connection with God within, you are giving away joy.  You have giving it to Me.  For my joy is to be    One with you, and My greatest joy is for you to know it.
Even as I accept the truth that I am never alone, how does that change things when I feel alone? What do I do, especially if I am not feeling very much joy?

When you are imagining you are alone, come to Me in the depths of your soul.  Talk to Me from your heart.  Companion with Me in your mind.  I will be with you and you will know it.

If you have been making daily contact with Me, it will be easier.  Yet, even if you have not, I will not fail you, but be with you the moment you call to Me.  For this is My promise.  Even before you call My name, I will be there.

That is because, I am always there, and your very decision to call My name merely elevates your awareness of Me.
Once you are aware of Me, your sadness will leave you. For sadness and God cannot exist in the same place, because God is the Life Energy, turned up as high as it will go, and sadness is Life Energy turned down.
Therefore, when I come to you, do not turn Me down!”.

DISCUSSIONS

Patshakti:  Those who know and know that they know, why must not we follow them?

Bisataoling:  The nature of a true teacher is to empower you.  You are being taught to become a teacher yourself.

Dakilahsuan:  It seems that it is a violation of this, when Jesus Christ said that “If you want to enter the Kingdom of My Father, carry your cross and follow Me”.

Bisataoling:  Here, there is no more religion, but spirituality.  The nature of the religious leader is to empower you because it is in the empowerment that you can manifest your true nature.  Another thing, it is desired that we express our original version of Who You Want To Be.  Do not be with them.  Just listen to them because there occurs into one’s life some things that are just meant to remind you of what you already know.  There is nothing you have to learn, but remember.  There is no message or teacher. Every one is the message.  The life lived is the message.  When you are empowered, you create.  Humility is very important.

Dakilahsuan:  What was the relevancy of Neale’s experiences to the Conversations with God trilogy? What about modeling, is this an AQUARIAN concept?

Bisataoling:  All of Neale’s experience were perfect preparations for the role that he now plays.
Yes, because in modeling you still retain your identity.  In the Piscean way, you forget your identity. You crush your small I, in favor of the big I.

Dakilahsuan:  Is our soul really particular with the quantity or quality of your experiences?
In the Piscean way, it is very deep and profound experience.  It is not so in modeling, it is how you understand life.
In the Aquarian way, the soul is after the many experiences of a life time.  It is what serves its purpose, which means to say if there is just one experience that will work, then it is enough.  It is what  works towards  excellence.  The soul is just after beingness.

Technological advancement
There is some concern that if technological advancement proceeds unbridled, that is misused and without any regard for life’s goals and purposes, that is evolution and spirituality, then what happened during the Atlantean era could repeat itself.

People may  just use its advances in technologies to  destroy humanity for selfish personal ends.  The development of weapons of mass destruction like nuclear and chemical warfare, do not augur well  for the future of humanity, especially that these may now be in the hands of people who are egocentrics, or egomaniacs, concerned only of their  own personal interests for both wealth and power.

Patshakti:  It is, therefore, important that scientists use their knowledge and expertise for the benefit of mankind, not for its destruction and annihilation,  for the preservation of mother earth, not for its destruction, for peace for all mankind, and not for war.  There are signs that we are moving in the direction which spells doom for humanity.  We should do our best to reverse this trend  and place systems development in the hands of spiritually minded individuals.

Control and Permissiveness in the Discipline of Children
Shall you rear your young with total freedom and be permissiveness in your ways, or shall your exercise some kind of control, as parents to guide them in their growth?  Which is the Unicon way?

Bisataoling is of the opinion that parents should give their children as much freedom as they can give, to express themselves and not be afraid for them to experience life in their own way as their soul perhaps intend.  In other words, let each  soul walk its own path.

Dakilahsuan feels that some control and guidance is necessary.  Otherwise, what are parents for.? Of what use are their experiences and knowledge of life if they cannot use these to guide their  children to grow and become good children and good citizens of the society of which they are part, and at least aware of life’s purposes  and man’s ultimate goal.

To his mind, there are two types of   control.  One is restrictive control, which demands total obedience to the parents authority and wishes.  The assumption is that the elders know best what is good for their children, and that children are incapable of self-guiding themselves without first attaining the maturity and experiences needed in going through life intelligently.

The other is leading control.    In leading control, people are reminded of the consequences of their actions.  They are educated of the different alternatives they have to choose in life, without necessarily curtailing their freedom to choose.   The concept is that children have first to be taught and trained before they are left to make difficult choices and freely exercise their freedom of choice.. The idea is give children at least a good chance of making intelligent decisions that will serve them well later in life.

Both Patshakti and Dakilahsuan agree that children can indeed benefit from wise and benevolent guidance, especially if they have not matured enough to make their own decisions.  The need for education, guidance and sharing of experiences is there.  But for those who show signs of making intelligent decisions, freedom to choose should never be curtailed.  If children are properly trained on the core values of responsibility, honesty, respect, fairness and consideration for others,  and if they have a good  foundation based on unconditional love and sharing, and if they see these being practiced by the family, they are most likely to grow up as well-balanced adults, especially if the mistakes of the Piscean era with regard to rearing children are avoided.

We must, however, be careful about over-care and over protection, else you will have dependent adults in your hands.  This is not the goal of responsible parenting.  Children should be trained to think on their feet and make decisions to the extent possible, without exposing them extreme risk or unnecessary dangers.  In other words, help or coach them not to make pitfalls in life, which may not be necessary.

Patshakti:  If after they have shown  maturity both in their thinking and actions and are made fully aware of the consequences of each of life’s many decisions,  they are now free to make their own decisions.  They can now walk their own path.

But at least, the parents have done their job of providing them proper care, education and guidance and shared the benefits of wise parenting to them.

Beingness and Goal

Dakilahsuan:  Can you achieve beingness without any goal?

Patshakti:  What is in the present moment is enough.  But in  reality, you do make plans. Plans for growth, education, career and work experiences, plans for family, etc.    I think the question is not whether you should plan for life, because your life  proceeds according to your intentions for it.   What is more important is that you live life fully, make it as fruitful and meaningful as you can, making goals and plans, but not getting attached to the results and flowing  with what is occurring without necessarily accepting what is unacceptable.  You have the awareness that life is not a problem to be solved but a mystery to be lived, and that you have  the option to uncreate what you have created if this does not serve your purpose of becoming Who Want To Be.  Above all, you choose what is best for you, after you are aware Who You Really Are.

Dakilahsuan:  Is life all beingness?  No.  Life starts with  beingness, but quickly proceeds to doingness and then havingness.  This is the cycle.

Aging, Stress and Body Biorhythms

Humans can withstand extraordinary stresses from the environment, but if we are pushed too far, our stress response turns on our own bodies and begins to create breakdowns both mentally and physically.
The human brain retains a primitive memory that is programmed to cope with every stress mechanism in basically the same way as our ancestors coped with saber-toothed tigers.   Faced with extreme danger, you instantly make a dramatic shift from a state of heightened arousal.  A full-blown fight-or-flight response explodes throughout your body, preparing you for action.  A message of alarm from the brain releases a flood of adrenaline from the adrenal cortex, which races through the bloodstream and completely overturns the usual business of the body.

Roughly 90% of a cell’s energy normally goes to building  new proteins and manufacturing new DNA and RNA .  When the brain perceives threat, however, the process is set aside. Whatever you decide to do in fight-or-flight situations your body needs a massive burst of energy to propel your muscles.  To allow this, the normal style of metabolism that builds the body, called anabolic metabolism, converts to its opposite, catabolic metabolism, which breaks down the tissues.

Stress response is vital, but if it is not terminated in time, the effects of catabolic metabolism are disastrous.  Every aspect of stress arousal leads to its own specific disorder under prolonged situations.

These long-term consequences of stress taken all together,  look very much like growing old.  Stress researches have shown that arousal occurs only at the onset of stress.  If the exposure to threat is not removed, arousal turns to exhaustion, because the body finds itself unable to return to the normal anabolic metabolism that builds reserves of tissues.

A steady decline in the stress response is universal as aging proceeds.  This decline is more than a straight-line drop.  It doubles exponentially, meaning that one year of old age produces as much deterioration in the stress response as two years of middle age.

Whenever stress is blamed for an ailment, people jump to the conclusion that the problem is too much stress, but in  fact the fault lies with the body’s coping mechanism.  The theory of stress has to be modified to include the mind-body connection, for such invisible elements as interpretation, belief, and attitude  count  enormously in the actual workings of the stress response.

Stages of Stress
Whenever you experience a stress, there are three phases to your response: (1) the stressful event; (2) your inner appraisal of it and (3) your body’s reaction.

What makes the stress response so difficult to handle is that once it begins, the mind has no control over it.  In totally inappropriate situations, such as sitting in a traffic jam or being criticized in work, the stress response can be triggered with no hope that its intended purpose – fighting or running away – can be carried out.

Modern life is full of external stressors that cannot be avoided.  A  city is essentially a monolithic stress machine, cranking out noise and air pollution, along with excessive speed, overcrowding, crime and rudeness. A noise doesn’t have to be loud to be damaging.  The stressful effects come about if any irritating noise is repeated over and over, out of your control.

This places the burden of dealing with stress on phase 2, appraisal.  Although you may not be able  control the stressful event or your body’s reaction to it, your appraisal, the vital link that bridges the event and the reaction, is up to you.  Any situation that appears the same on the outside can turn into a powerful stress once the interpretation of it changes.

The totally personal way in which we filter all events determines how stressful they are.  External stressors are actually triggers.. If you don’t feel triggered, there is no stress.

Why do some people seem to thrive on stress?  They perform best under high-pressure deadlines and blossom in the heat of competition.

What is really happening is  that they aren’t being triggered physiologically.  Nobody can thrive when the body keeps secreting cortisol and adrenaline.  These hormones function to breakdown tissue, and extended  release of them leads to disease.

Because a person’s interpretation of any situation is basically projected form his memory, our reactions to new situations are always colored by our experiences in the past.  Instead of appraising each new situation afresh, we slip; it into old categories.  This happens instantaneously, and is beyond our conscious control.  This makes stress management more complicated than is generally supposed.

Neutralizing these old impressions is essential; otherwise, you have no control over stress.  The stressful event will trigger your response automatically, making you a prisoner.

Interpretation:  The Critical Factor.

Everyone has a different level of stress tolerance, but what seems to produce the greatest perceived threat are:

Lack of predictability
Lack of control
Lack of outlets for frustration.

When these elements are present, innocuous situations can turn stressful, sometimes out of proportion to their actual stimulus.

Everyday life is full of situations which lack the element of predictability, and as they buildup, we internalize the memory of them, reinforcing our conditioned response.  Stress researchers have shown that it takes no outside stress event but just the mere perception of unpredictability, lack of control, and lack of outlets for frustration, to create the stress response.

Unpredictability.

Predictability serves as an early warning device and decreases stress response, anxiety.  Unpredictability makes you vigilant all the time, and the   vigilant state triggers stress.

Lack of Control.

When you have control over a situation, you can cope with stressful condition better than compared to a situation where you have no control at all and you don’t know what’s going to happen to you next.  This situation alone places you under stress, where you can have a stress reaction even though there is no actual stressful event happening yet.

Lack of outlets for frustration.

For millions of people, life is so frustrating that their only hope of relieving stress is by overeating and drinking, while whole societies try to escape their miseries by attacking other countries.  Strife breaks out over issues that seem trivial to an outsider, but frustration and lack of control are enormously painful conditions to live under.

When someone close to you suddenly dies, the unbearable heartaches of grief is  tied up in potent intangibles. There seems to be no way to express enough of the pent-up feelings of loss and abandonment.  This becomes particularly painful if the person to whom you need to express your feelings is the one who died.

It is not the stress itself that is fatal, since the same losses and threats are survived by other people. The ability to withstand the stress is lacking.  This vulnerability overrides physical factors.

The key factor is memory.

If there is no memory at all, you won’t recognize the difference between one situation and the next.
Expectation, oftentimes, is the stressor.

This has enormous implications for aging, because all of us  carry around a world inside ourselves – the world of our past.  We generate our own stresses by referring to this world and the traumas imprinted on it.  Our memories dictate what frightens us or makes us angry.  Without the memory of stress, there would be no stress.  We feel out of control and frustrated whenever a situation reminds us too closely of earlier times when were out of control and frustrated.

The curse of memory is that it ages us from the inside; our inner world is getting older, shutting us out from reality, which is never old.

The perfection of human memory is outstanding.  There are actually few, if any simple stresses in human life, because as soon as a new event occurs, the imprint of old memories becomes activated, triggering the kind of stress we anticipate.  Thus stress becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.   Our reactions fit our expectations.

The Hormone Connection

Stress reaction involves the release of powerful chemicals that the body must  cut off before damage is done to itself.  Glucocorticoids are hormones secreted by the adrenal glands as part of the heightened arousal demanded by the body under stress.    Glucocorticoids:

Activate the shift form anabolic to catabolic metabolism;    specifically break down  glucagons in the liver, a form of stored energy that the body can use as needed.

Break down  proteins.  Under certain  conditions, such as times of famine, the body must fend off starvation by starting to consume its own muscles in order to keep up blood sugar, and again the chemicals responsible are glucocorticoids.

The best known of the glucocorticoids, cortisol,  plays a hidden role in the aging of    certain animals, specifically, the Pacific salmon.  After hatching, young salmon spend their first  four years at sea before they are mysteriously guided thousands of miles to the exact freshwater lakes where they were born.  After a heroic journey upstream over raids, mature salmons spawn and almost immediately die.

What causes the fish to age overnight into feeble, spent creatures is not the sheer exhaustion, but an internal “aging clock” built in to their DNA that bides its time until spawning and then releases a rush of corticoids hormone in massive amounts from the adrenal glands.

Cortisol is a potent stress hormone in all animals; in salmon it is a death hormone.
