It is a combination of many asanas and mudras incorporated into one specific series of movements designed to revitalize and rejuvenate the entire body.The ideal time to practice Surya Namaskar is at sunrise. The time required should not be in excess of 15 minutes, but the number of rounds practiced is an individual choice. Maximum of 12 rounds is ideal with 6 slow rounds and then 6 fast rounds. Complete relaxation (dead pose) is recommended after the practice. |
