Personal Year
To obtain the personal year for the individual, we simply add the current year plus the birth month and the birth day of the individual.
Example: John's birthday is April 13, 1974 Curent year: 2008
4 (April) + 13 (B-day) + 2008 (C-year) = 9 John's personal year
According to nature, there is a correct time to sow or to start new projects. The bible itself speaks of the fat and lean years. "To everythng there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. A time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance."
Personal year acts as a timing device, to channel efforts and undertaking toward right action, thus avoiding what might otherwise bring failure and unhappiness.

Personal Year 1
The number one cycle is a renewal year. Everyone needs something new from time to time.
The feeling and desire to move forward, to improve situations, to do something about present conditions, to get on in the world, to start something new, to discard old negative physical, mental, and emotional habits, will influence your thoughts and desires this year.
Life never remains the same for long. Otherwise there would be stagnation instead of progress.
This new cycle is a push forward, and to prevent you from getting in a rut. Now is the time for improvement, advancement, and a new grip on your undertakings. Learn something new and start something that you can harvest in the coming years.
Personal Year 2
During the second year of your nine year cycle, agreements and harmonious relationships in business or human association depend upon a willingness to share, when mutual benefits are required. How well you work with others, in all associations, is more important than the results you are trying to get.
The need for tactful approach in all dealings or undertakings is vitally important, and the exercise of patience when delays seem to hold no results, is the background for ultimate success.
It is really your task, all this year, to keep peace in your mind and heart. Otherwise, you could be pressed, by others, into an ungracious action; feel subordinated and not in control of your plans and right-action.
Personal Year 3
This year is a year where you have to believe in yourself and the ideas you have been carrying in your heart and mind, but never expressed. At least dream about them.
This will be an eventful year, at the same time, pleasure travel, many social activities, friendly gatherings and entertainment take on color.
If your life is well established, and you do not feel the need of change, and especially if your work and way of living is routine, at least add fun and inspiration to the lives of others. Entertain, give gifts, and renew your friendship with others. Study, read, attend lectures, and freshen your mental and creative faculties.

This is a building year. It is time to think in terms of order, system, good management and economical procedure for a more stable and secure future.
This is a year of opportunity. It is one of the practical periods of your life and not a time of dreaming, personal indulgence or careless living.
This is a good time, to buy, sell, build and exchange. A good time to know where your insurance papers, mortgage or lease papers are? How much money you have; property, jewels, personal assets?
Personal Year 5
It is a time when new projects can be undertaken and when new interests are likely to come into your life.
The trend of events during the year is in the nature of new experiences. Change of environment, new relationships, new ideas, and new contacts, new plans, more freedom, more variety and enterprise; color your affairs this year.
Changes may take place, even though you are not inviting them, so look for the opportunity, which is present when they come about.
Personal Year 6
This is a duty year and you should keep this in mind, in the midst of pleasure and problems so, as the year passes by, do not miss the opportunity to give of yourself, in some way, to make others happy.
This wonderful year often means weddings, romance, reunions, communion with children, gatherings, celebrations with old remembrances and traditional standards.
Family, personal relationships and love affairs will take most of your time this year. Relationships will either continue or end this year. It is important that you demonstrate love, patience and understanding to all relationships.

The bible tells us that when God created the world for six days. He went away and rested on the seventh day. You are likely to feel an inner desire to be done with a lot of the work you carried on last year and the endless responsibility. The inner drive which will be prodding you now, will urge you to change your way of thinking and feeling and to live on a higher plane of thought and action.
Regardless of your type of work, you may suddenly feel tired of the endless duties of last year, you wish to have more time for yourself and be free from so many responsibilities, even from people and friends.
This is a good year to take time out to rest, study, read, travel and to place some of the duties in the hands of others. It is a time to reflect and meditate what you have done in the past and assess your plans for the future.

Whatever your employment or means of earning a living—doctor, lawyer, merchant, artist, entertainer, writer, salesman, craftsman, inventor, minister, or if you are daily employed by others, your state of mind, your mental capacities and self-confidence will all be a part of your success and financial advancement.
Many opportunities will present themselves, during the year. You will need to seek out these opportunities for yourself. Whatever your ability, place it on the market, with a sense of self-confidence and authority. Then be ready to back up your effort by hard work and skill in dealing with business ways and means by which success is attained.

This Year brings many of your affairs to a head. During the year you must be ready and willing to let go of the old and undesirable in your life, to make way for the new and worth-while next year..
It is important to make a definite effort to be done with things, which have no further value. If something you are trying to hold on, asks for freedom or desires to get away, be understanding, for if you try to hold it, it may get away anyway, especially if life sees fit to make this change.
During the year you may find your interest growing away from some of your former associations and activities and unconsciously turn your thought and attention to interest, which have not been a part of your life before.
You may be called upon to give up a relationship, or leave something behind, even a way of living, whether you wish to or not. This is not a sacrifice; it is necessary so that you may go ahead with plans for your own broader expression.
When a relationship has outlived its purpose, your lesson may be to let go rather than to hold on when the attraction is over.
