“He has come so you may have life and have it more abundantly. Blessed are those who may have failed to see, but believed, they may experience the reality of who they really are thru the light of who they are not. It is in believing that one may hope to see.” (2-2001)
Discussion about the “The Age of Aquarius” is now widely proliferated. Our planet is now entering the astrological Age of Aquarius, which will last approximately 2,000 years. The age of Pisces, which starts from 33 A.D to 2,000 A.D. has just ended.
If you know about the sequence of astrological signs, Aquarius is supposed to precede Pisces in the zodiac. But the sequence of astrological ages appears to move backwards. This is because of the “Precession of the Equinoxes.” As the sun passes from one sign of the zodiac into the next, there exist a transition period, which we all call as a cusp.
If you imagine two circles overlapping with each other, the shaded part representing the overlap of both circles represents the cusp. During the year, cusp period between zodiac signs normally last 1 day, but for astrological ages, cusp period is much longer. It last for approximately 3 to 300 years. Why is this so? It’s because your popular calendar was changed in 1582 A. D. also prior to that not many records were kept, so you can’t be exact as to when the Piscean age actually began, nor the vast ages which come before it, which is also a long 2,000 year period.
At any rate, what is significant is to take note of the gradual pole shift changes and trends as we live thru the cusp period. During the cusp period, astrological influences of both ages are felt.
Piscean is a time of duality. The concept of good vs. evil, upon which Christianity dogma was based, is largely Piscean. It’s worth remembering that Christianity has been the dominant cultural influence on your planet during the past 2,000 years.
In Aquarius, there are no polarities. The concepts about more vs. less, rich vs. poor, and separation will cease to exist.
Viewing sex within the context of “unisex,” a vogue, which became popular during 1960’s, is an Aquarian concept. Men and women dressed alike, looked alike, acted alike. Sexual liberation has catapulted the gay movement, women’s liberation movement, an open recognition of bisexuality as well as homosexuality. During Aquarius, male will no longer be superior, but neither will female.
Our recent political leadership may attest to this as we are now having an incumbent female president. But this is not to overemphasize that the new millennium is also vibration two (2000), which is a female. There will be equality and oneness among sexes.
In male and female relationship, sexuality is no longer considered inferior than spirituality. Love now includes sex, instead of being seen as alienated from sex.
In Aquarius(2000 – 4000), we will be governed by our own inner authority. Bicameral mind or outer authority, which was prevalent during the Piscean era, will be eradicated soon due to our wide access of information technology. People will literally govern themselves and aim for self-empowerment. The Aquarian mentality is very much concerned about personal responsibility.
The Age of Aquarius will propagate the dictum that God is within everyone. In this era, our goal will be to bring this idea into meaningful reality in your existence. We will explore in finding new ways to help everyone be happy and contented, making sure that everyone has food on the table and everyone will enjoy abundance and prosperity.
Practically, most areas in our civilization will undergo significant change, and in each area, we will have to deal with Aquarian choices.
Accordingly, new art forms will develop. There will be optimum usage of light and shadow, which will pave the way towards literal illusion. You have already begun to harness television, photography, and highly advanced computer technology. These will be integrated into new techniques, comprising holograms and even the use of 3-dimensiontional artistry.
So much about pole shift, and the Age of Aquarius, let us now examine closely the new-age clamor for paradigm shift. Before the earth was circumnavigated by man, our old paradigm about our planet was that it was flat. This belief system has been kept as the only reality controlling our own consciousness, until a pioneering soul tore down the iron curtain, which separates “what is “ from “what should.”
Old paradigm or old fixed ideas may not be totally wrong and erroneous. They are simply lacking, partial, and mostly incomplete. This means that if we dare to look beyond the confine of our limiting belief system, a new world is waiting to be explored. A new version of reality will unfold. All we need right now is to be consciously aware of our own creation, making sure that we open our senses to possibilities as we lay down the groundwork of our set of paradigms. We have to abandon limiting ideas by seeking the rules within ourself.
Just what is a paradigm shift? In retrospect, paradigm shift is a simple change of perception. As such, self-awareness is of paramount importance before we undertake self-transformation or inner conceptual change. The change must culminate from the very core, upon which our spiritual being emanates.
How do we translate change in the reality of our day-to-day existence? Of course, going into the mountain in isolation leaving behind your family, your career, your business, and society is a Piscean way of self-transformation. We have done that already and it has served its very own purpose of preparing for the new era of Aquarius.
